Project Description
The project involves the preliminary and final design of intersection improvements along a 13-mile segment of U.S. 69, stretching from the U.S. 400/K-171 junction south of Pittsburg to the K-47 intersection near Franklin. These improvements, identified in the U.S. 69 Highway Study 2024-2025, are intended to enhance safety and mobility, the primary goals of the study. Planned work includes reconfiguring select intersection to right-in/right-out access, constructing a roundabout, upgrading traffic signals and improving intersection lighting.
