Project Description
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is evaluating improvements to U.S. 160 between U.S. 169 in Montgomery County and Gartner Avenue in Altamont (Labette County).
The project will reconstruct and widen shoulders, improve intersections, and evaluate new roadway alignment alternatives at the western limits, where the corridor connects to U.S. 169. These improvements will enhance safety, freight mobility and connectivity for communities, schools and agricultural industries across southeast Kansas.
