Project Description
The K-33 Improvements project will widen and upgrade K-33 from 6th Street in Wellsville north to the K-33/U.S. 56 junction. The project includes replacing the existing 11-foot lanes with 12-foot lanes and adding 8-foot shoulders due to deteriorating pavement conditions on K-33.
The project also will straighten some vertical curves, improve ditches and combine some driveways along K-33. These upgrades will help prioritize safety and maintain traffic flow.
This project is in the final design phase. The project has been funded for construction, with an anticipated construction start in Spring 2030.
