Home MenuK-15 Shoulder Widening & Bridge Replacement
Project Description
KDOT has determined that improvements are needed from the west K-15/K-18 junction east to the east K-15/K-18 junction in Dickinson County. This project is currently in the final design phase and will also include a bridge replacement of the bridge over the Chapman Creek Drainage.
The goal of the project is to modernize this four-mile section of K-15 between the two K-15/K-18 junctions by widening shoulders along K-15, replacing the bridge over the Chapman Creek Drainage and improving sight distance through alignment changes in the first mile.
The project is scheduled let in Spring 2027 with construction anticipated to begin mid to late 2027, weather and conditions permitting.
