Home MenuI-70 Pavement Replacement in Junction City
Project Description
This multi-phase project is located on I-70, on the south side of Junction City and consists of replacing the deteriorated concrete pavement on I-70 from mile marker 296 to mile marker 301.
Project construction also includes replacement of pavement on all local ramps, bridge rehabilitation, permanent striping, replacement of the pavement under I-70 at K-57, replacement of the pavement at the Washington Street roundabout, and replacement of the pavement on the south end of East Street.
Project phasing is designed to keep as many local ramps open as possible while still providing closures for construction. All three phases of the project are to be completed by December 2025, weather permitting.
