Project Description

This project’s goal is to evaluate potential interchange improvements for the I-135 and I-70 interchange in Saline County. The highway interchange, located just outside Salina, Kansas, is crucial to the roadway network for traveling east/west and north/south through the state. Currently in the discovery phase, the project will focus on developing preliminary concepts to enhance mobility and safety. This project was selected for the IKE development pipeline as part of KDOT’s Local Consult process in 2023. If selected and funding becomes available, this will move to the construction pipeline.
