The Kansas Traffic Safety Resource Office is a program of the Kansas Department of Transportation’s Bureau of Transportation Safety’s State Highway Safety Office. The KTSRO works with KDOT, Kansas Highway Patrol, law enforcement agencies, Kansas Safe Kids Coalitions and other agencies and community organizations including schools and SADD groups. Together with its partners, the KTSRO focuses to provide education and resources on initiatives to improve transportation safety not limited to the following:

• Novice and teen drivers
• Aging drivers
• Increased seat belt use and child passenger safety
• Prevention of impaired driving and underage drinking
• Increased motorcycle safety awareness
