The Sponsor-A-Highway program provides businesses with the opportunity to financially sponsor litter removal on designated state highways in Kansas City, Topeka, Lawrence, and Wichita.

Businesses outside of the larger metro areas are invited to participate in the Adopt-A-Highway program. 

About the Program

• Businesses pay an annual fee to one of the companies listed below. The company then manages six litter pickups for their highway section and reports their work to KDOT.
• Sponsorships offset the cost of litter removal for KDOT.
• Businesses will have their company logo displayed on a sign at the cleanup site as part of the annual fee.

• Approved Vendor: Adopt-A-Highway Maintenance Corporation
• Commitment: Two years
