Project: K-7 bridge over K-10

Overview

Bridge repairs on both the northbound and southbound bridges on K-7 over K-10 in Lenexa and Olathe. The project is expected to be completed by mid-November. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions in the vicinity of the bridges through the duration of the project with accompanying ramp closures.

Traffic control

Stage 1 | Aug 5 to mid-September

  • Northbound and southbound K-7 right lanes closed
  • Northbound K-7 to westbound K-10 ramp closed
    • Detour is eastbound K-10 to Woodland Street to westbound K-10
  • Southbound K-7 to eastbound K-10 ramp closed
    • Detour is southbound K-7 to College Boulevard to northbound K-7 to eastbound K-10
  • Westbound K-10 to southbound K-7 ramp closed
    • Detour is westbound K-10 to Cedar Creek Parkway to eastbound K-10 to southbound K-7
  • Eastbound K-10 to northbound K-7 ramp closed
    • Detour is eastbound K-10 to Woodland St. to westbound K-10 to northbound K-7
