KDOT’s statewide Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) network uses advanced technology to monitor roadway conditions and provide real-time travel information across Kansas. Through traffic sensors, cameras, dynamic message signs, and data systems, statewide ITS supports incident response, improves safety, and helps travelers make informed decisions on Kansas roadways. ITS operations are coordinated through two traffic management centers, KC Scout and WICHway.
