Project Description

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) has determined improvements may be needed for the Connect56 Interchange Improvements Project at the I-35/U.S. 56/175th Street interchange in Gardner. To address this, KDOT launched a comprehensive study in January 2025. The study's purpose is to evaluate and recommend the most effective short-term and long-term solutions for enhancing access, prioritizing safety, and optimizing traffic flow at the interchange.

Throughout the study, KDOT will collaborate with an advisory group, local stakeholders, and the public to understand community needs and develop an informed solution.
