K-14 closed north of Harper

The BNSF railroad has closed its crossing on K-14 near Harper.

The tracks are located between West 8th Street and NE 100 Road northwest of Harper.

KDOT has not been notified of the length or reason for the closure.

BNSF and its subcontractors are overseeing the closure and traffic control.

The state route detour for the closure uses K-42 and K-2 to get between Harper and Rago.

KDOT urges motorists to stay alert, follow posted signs and refrain from hand-held mobile device use in all active work zones.
