A portion of U.S. 59/Iowa Street in Lawrence is scheduled to close this weekend for bridge work on the Kansas Department of Transportation’s K-10/South Lawrence Trafficway (SLT) project.
Conditions permitting, the area of U.S. 59/Iowa Street under the K-10 bridge will fully close at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday, March 20, for construction and girder placements on the new K-10/SLT bridge. The area will remain closed until work is complete, or no later than 6 a.m. on Monday, March 23.
