Post Date:01/16/2026 9:00 AM

A contractor has completed an asphalt project to seal cracks on U.S. 400 in Greenwood County, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.

The work area involved 15 miles of U.S. 400 from the Wilson County line west to the east junction of K-99 at Severy. Work began in the fall of 2025.

Pavement Pros LLC, of McPherson, had the $353,896.97 contract.

A guardrail project on the same stretch of road is still in progress on the right of way, but it is not impacting traffic.
