The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) will host two open houses in December for the potential improvements along the U.S. 56 corridor between McPherson and the U.S. 77 intersection, as well as additional improvements under consideration.

Both open houses will present the same information, and KDOT project team members will be available to answer questions about existing conditions and improvement options. There will be no formal presentation; attendees are encouraged to stop by any time during the events.

• Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
