BNSF to close U.S. 77 to through traffic near Augusta the week of Nov. 2

Beginning Nov. 2, the BNSF railroad plans to close U.S. 77 to through traffic to perform work on their crossing just south of the city of Augusta.

Traffic will be detoured on Santa Fe Lake Road and SW 210th Street.

The road is expected to reopen by Nov. 9, conditions permitting. For current road conditions, visit kandrive.gov or call 511. For updates on construction projects in south central Kansas, visit ksdot.gov/southcentralnews.
