The MacVicar Avenue ramp onto eastbound I-70 in Topeka is expected to close on Saturday, Oct. 18, around 8 a.m., as part of the Kansas Department of Transportation’s Polk-Quincy Viaduct (PQV) project.
The closure is necessary for crews to complete the ramp’s paving tie-ins and acceleration lane on eastbound I-70.
There will be no marked detour during the closure, which is expected to be in place until late December.
All project work and traffic changes are conditions permitting.
