U.S. 160 to reduce lanes Oct. 2
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is scheduled to reduce U.S. 160 to one lane on Thursday, Oct. 2, at 7 a.m. for railroad work on the BNSF crossing on the west edge of the city of Winfield, near the fairgrounds.
This is a change from a previous release. Work was originally planned for Oct. 6.
The road is expected to be reopened to traffic by 5 p.m. that same day, conditions permitting. For current road conditions, visit kandrive.gov or call 511. For updates on construction projects in south central Kansas, visit ksdot.gov/southcentralnews.
