Overnight closure scheduled for U.S. 75/I-70 ramp

The Kansas Department of Transportation has scheduled an overnight closure of the southbound U.S. 75 exit ramp to westbound I-70 in Topeka for resurfacing work.
Conditions permitting, the ramp will be closed tonight, Sept. 18, from approximately 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., or until work is complete.
During the closure, a marked detour will direct motorists to Gage Boulevard and back to westbound I-70.
Drivers can use the marked detour or alternate routes. Message boards and signage will be in place to alert and direct motorists.
KDOT urges motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones. For current road conditions, visit KanDrive.gov or call 511. For updates on highway projects in northeast Kansas, visit ksdot.gov/NortheastNews.
