Post Date:09/09/2025 4:02 PM

The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to close one lane of the bridge on U.S. 169 over the Neosho River on the Allen/Neosho county line beginning Sept. 10 to perform a bridge repair.

Traffic will be guided in the one lane portion by traffic signals. The project is expected to last about a week, conditions permitting.

KDOT urges motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones. For current road conditions, visit kandrive.gov or call 511. For updates on construction projects in Southeast Kansas, visit ksdot.gov/projects/southeast-kansas-projects.
