Overnight work is expected to begin next week along I-70 as part of the Kansas Department of Transportation’s Polk-Quincy Viaduct project in Topeka.
The week of Monday, Sept. 8, overnight work will occur along eastbound and westbound I-70 between Topeka Boulevard and MacVicar Avenue.
Conditions permitting, crews will work from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. nightly Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, if needed.
Overnight work is also planned to occur along eastbound I-70 the week of Monday, Sept. 22.
Regular daytime working hours will continue. Impacts to traffic are not expected while overnight work is taking place.
