U.S. 24/U.S. 75 ramp in Topeka to close next week

Post Date:09/05/2025 2:00 PM

Beginning Monday, Sept. 8, the eastbound U.S. 24 exit ramp to northbound U.S. 75 in Topeka will temporarily close until late November, conditions permitting, as part of the Kansas Department of Transportation’s bridge repair project on U.S. 75.

During the closure, a marked detour will direct traffic to southbound U.S. 75, to N.W. Lower Silver Lake Road, to the northbound U.S. 75 ramp.

Drivers can follow the marked detour or use alternate routes. Message boards and signage will be in place to alert and direct motorists.

KDOT urges motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones. For current road conditions, visit KanDrive.gov or call 511. For updates on highway projects in northeast Kansas, visit NewsReleases/District1-NortheastKansas.
