An I-470 bridge in west Topeka will temporarily close tomorrow while the Kansas Department of Transportation completes survey work on the bridge deck surface. 

The westbound I-470 flyover bridge to westbound I-70 will be closed tomorrow, Aug. 20, from approximately 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., conditions permitting.

Drivers will need to use alternative routes during the closure. Message boards and signage will be in place to alert motorists.
