Bridge deck repair on U.S. 75 in Woodson County to begin Aug. 19
The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) will repair a bridge deck on U.S. 75 approximately two and a half miles north of Yates Center beginning Tuesday, Aug. 19.
The highway will be reduced to one lane and traffic will be guided by traffic signals. The highway will be fully reopened by the end of the month, conditions permitting.
This project will repair the bridge deck for smoother traffic movement and is being undertaken by the KDOT Yates Center subarea crew.
KDOT reminds motorists to stay alert and follow posted signs in all work zones. For current road conditions, visit kandrive.gov or call 511. For updates on construction projects in Southeast Kansas, visit ksdot.gov/projects/southeast-kansas-projects.
