An I-70 ramp in west Topeka will temporarily close overnight next week while Kansas Department of Transportation maintenance crews complete pavement patching work.

Conditions permitting, the westbound I-70 flyover ramp to I-470 will be closed from approximately 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 4, until 6 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5.

During the closure, a marked detour will direct motorists to K-4/Auburn Road to eastbound I-70 to the I-470 exit.  

Drivers can follow the marked detour or use alternate routes. Message boards and signage will be in place to alert and direct motorists.
