Ramp closures on U.S. 169 next week

The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) will be closing the highway ramp used to exit and enter U.S. 169 closest to Chanute High School for two days next week, conditions permitting.

The closure of the U.S. 169 and 35 Parkway ramps will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5 and Wednesday, Aug. 6.

This project will repair the surface of the ramps to allow for smoother traffic movement. Please plan to find alternate routes during those times.

KDOT maintenance crews hope to be finished in those two days.
