Starting tomorrow, July 31, temporary lane reductions are expected to occur on areas of the Kansas Department of Transportation’s South Lawrence Trafficway (SLT) project.
Conditions permitting, flaggers will direct traffic through the following areas of K-10 from approximately 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.:
• Thursday, July 31, and Friday, Aug. 1: K-10 will be reduced to one lane through the U.S. 40/6th Street interchange.
• Thursday, July 31, through Wednesday, Aug. 6: K-10 will be reduced to one lane over Yankee Tank Creek, just west of the U.S. 59 interchange.
Motorists should plan for possible delays and allow extra time for travel.
